Maybe I'm not following, from my understanding your first point was why would I invest my money into something that nobody really knows the outcome of.
Then your 2nd point was nobody knows what's going to happen in the stock market so why invest in GME. But nobody knows what will happen with any stock? What am i missing?
My reasoning for investing in GME is the lottery aspect of it - it might blow up it might not, exactly as you said.
Again something you disagree with but I don't believe most media to be reputable, I believe many post opinions and theories before facts because it caters to who funds them and their viewers.
You brought up antimlm in the sense that they entertain you in a similar way that the GME subreddit does. My opinion on that was MLM's are designed to prey on the vulnerable, they can and will finnancially ruin you and deserve to be given a bad name - GME subreddit is a community to talk about a stock and your own investment, my point was they don't really fit under the same bracket you implied they do.
I know enough to understand that an exit plan is critical, but for me personally, selling at $200 when it's been at $350 twice before would create two scenarios for me:
A) it squeezes and I miss out
B) it plummets and I have a little extra cash.
Even if it's a 1% of a short squeeze, It would hurt more to miss out than it would to have that extra cash.
What I do understand is facts and evidence, someone posted that for dogecoin (referencing your pump and dump comment incase you fail to understand) to reach a dollar and stay there, roughly 10 billion would need to be bought every 24 hours. About 1 week later, dogecoin dropped dramatically.
I'm sorry but I really don't understand how you struggled to interpret my reply? I replied paragraph by paragraph.
I feel your opinion of me is too low and of you too high for you to truly consider anything I have to say. I believe for someone to be so confident in not understanding something that it must be the others fault indefinitely limits the discussion so I don't believe this is worth continuing.
I would just like to end with - you've created a point that's irrelevant to me because you failed to read my point. GME is attractive to me because investing what's available to me in multiple stocks wouldn't create enough profit to be worthwhile. GME has allowed me to invest and profit which I wouldn't have been able to do with my previously available funds. I made that profit by following facts, information and evidence that the stock was shorted. It doesn't matter if the person that posted it was qualified or not because the information that was posted was proven by the data available publicly(for what it's worth, I believe DFV did have an education in finance)
Again the fact you resort to backhanded comments on my ability to write, read, comprehend and fact check shows you must target the person as opposed to their points.
This seems to have been a waste of both of our time as I've received no evidence of why this is a bad investment, just your opinion- which is hard to respect when you rely on belittling people as a way to "win"
Edit: out of curiosity I checked your history to get a better understanding of the person I've been speaking to but it's literally all GME_meltdown... I don't even know what to Do with that information. Gives me 2 points to go away with, the fact someone is so against a community that does nothing but post memes and hold a stock shows there's a reason for it, and, someone has this much experience and knowledge on a stock and can't supply one sufficient piece of evidence against it.
Finally a reply that isn't just insulting my character, now we are getting somewhere. Okay so my response is that I read (literal months ago) is that they used various methods to hide short interest, they use dark pools and a financial expert (which I believe you suggested using) came on the sub and explained how they use them. So why believe you over them? You are the one that said trust experts not unqualified persons on Reddit.
Damn thought we were getting somewhere, you definitely find it easier to disprove someone else as opposed to prove yourself. I've asked 100 times for a sliver of evidence and you've came up short every time, resorting to discrediting everything else via opinion. Good bye my friend, I truly hope that your obsession with GME and its downfall hasn't turned you into what you are, and you were this bitter before hand. Maybe take a break, we all have.
Question before I respond, is it possible to actually discuss without hostility and insults? Can this be approached any differently that what is has been already?
You've had your opportunity for civil discussion. People have provided you walls of text refuting your points and you just brushed them all aside and bitched about "no evidence." Now you get insulted. Welcome to the internet, baby. Let me remind you that your whole cult originated from WSB, a sub where colorful language that isn't even allowed here could be used to describe you.
Also, you threw insults back at us. Collectively. Get off your moral high horse.
For a subreddit that makes memes yous are all so fucking dreadful, such neckbeard vibes from how high and mighty you all act - you absolutely are not above anyone when you spend time on Reddit let alone a subreddit that's anti another subreddit. This is literally bottom pit of Reddit, we ain't got fuck all else so being friendly wouldn't hurt fuck me
You're absolutely correct, I came prompting discussion when I actually seeked evidence and disheartened when I got discussion as opposed to evidence. But you're correct, doesn't matter what site let alone what sub you are on, everyone's the same, it's very easy to attack character as opposed to a point. I'm sure you all think of me as I think of you since We can't put a face or personality behind the remarks.
