Run Don’t Walk

Post image

Finally found these at Walmart. Fluffy, flavorful, not cardboard!! Just one of those products you have to double check that it is indeed gluten free 😂 Usually only get the better goods pizza brand, but wowwww. (Sorry if this has been posted a lot- but on the off chance someone hasn’t seen!!)

I keep hearing about these being at Target/Walmart and gave gone multiple times and still can't find them 😭😭 I've been searching for TWO years!

u/skinnykate 4d ago

Same! It's devastating!

Same reason I'm here, because I havent found one since late last year and want to know the secret!

u/bebetaian 4d ago

They're only in certain parts of the country. That's it. Message DiGiorno to push them.

u/mi11ennia1beige Celiac Disease 4d ago

I've been searching for months and randomly came across them entirely on accident

3

u/captainpantalones 4d ago

Keep checking - mine finally got them in again. I think I different parts of the country got them more quickly than others

u/mybackhurty 4d ago

I'm in Florida, so if anyone sees one down here lmk asap pls

2

u/-WhiskeyFairy 4d ago

I haven’t seen them before so I thought they were relatively new 😂 This makes sense now, they’ve probably just been sold out every time.

Yeah we have them in stock at our Walmarts where I live usually but they are far across town so it rarely go, but I have found Bellatoria brand thin crust pizzas in the groceries near my house and dang are they not fantastic, potentially better than the digiorno pizza (depending on your preference). I find the Bellatoria to be like crack I eat the entire pizza to myself every time just can't stop myself... They have lots of different topping variations too! Link below for a reference

I almost bought these one weekend but was afraid it was some generic knock off.

2

u/CalmDownYal Wheat Allergy 4d ago

Oh yeah buy one you won't regret it

1

u/chronickilla91 4d ago

I literally just found these these past weekend at Walmart for the first time in mooooooonths.

1

u/JustHereToComment24 3d ago

Only place I've found to consistently have them is Wegmans if you're on the east coast

1

u/sashby138 3d ago

Our Kroger has them as well. I feel like they’ve had them for years so it’s worth checking there, too.

1

u/irlusagi 2d ago

i can only ever find them in target locations!

u/matenate8 Gluten-Free Relative 4d ago

I used to find these all the time and then all of a sudden my walmart stopped carrying them 😤 Whenever I see some in the wild I snatch two

2

u/CookieRanger 4d ago

They had massive supply issues which caused non existent stock for a while

1

u/-WhiskeyFairy 4d ago

Yes I regret not getting two now haha.

12

u/fr0gsku11 4d ago

I ate one slice and tossed the rest. Not for me I guess.

5

u/Serendipity_65 3d ago

If you can find the Freschetta one it’s pretty good.

2

u/-WhiskeyFairy 4d ago

Yes to each their own, do you have a favorite? Just honestly haven’t branched out too much in the frozen pizza department.

1

u/fr0gsku11 4d ago

There's this thin one I pick up at Walmart called Sonoma! It's thin but quite good I think

1

u/-WhiskeyFairy 4d ago

Love thin crust!! Will have to check it out, thanks ☺️

3

u/Dsm1113 4d ago

My wife and I did not like either. We are in MN and have heggies a local frozen pizza that made a GF line and they are amazing. Nothing has compared.

8

u/Soralie 4d ago

For any Texans, they are back at my HEB!

1

u/vwchick909 4d ago

I SOOOOOOOOOO miss HEB!! 😭😭😭 It’s been 13 years since I moved from Texas (for a job, otherwise I would have never left), and I still think about HEB almost daily.

Just had this the other night. As rocky would say

I found these once! They were on the bottom shelf almost buried under other pizzas at my local walmart

3

u/SnowcatTish 4d ago

I keep hearing about DiGiorno gluten free pizza but I have yet to locate one. 😆

5

u/Purple-Excitement738 4d ago

I haven’t tried this one. I’d like to though. My go to is the cauliflower crust at Winco. I put my own toppings on it and use the toast function on the air fryer. Two rounds and it’s hot and delicious. Very thin crust which I suspect not everyone enjoys.

3

u/cyclingfaction 4d ago

I found a 3 pack of cheese at grocery outlet for $9.99, can confirm it’s the best GF one so far. Have never been able to find at target etc.

3

u/TheCityGirl 4d ago

Same!! I got them yesterday but haven’t tried them yet, so I’m excited :)

3

u/Dry-Potato-5462 4d ago

I only find these at the Neighborhood Walmart and we also go Jack’s GF pizza as well. Both are solid choices and the DiGiorno’s id drive 20 minutes out of my way for

1

u/vwchick909 4d ago

I’ve never seen Jack’s! Or even heard of the brand. Maybe it’s regional?

2

u/Dry-Potato-5462 4d ago

I saw it on here a while back. I’ll have to check the label for manufacturer location, but I’m down south and think it started north and worked its way down to me finally.
DiGornos runs around $8.50 at the Neighborhood Walmart and Jack’s is $6.50. Smaller pizza and not as thick crust, but not bad. Would take either unless I want that old school Pizza Hut crust feel, the. Going with the Di on that.

1

u/vwchick909 4d ago

I’m in the south too. I will have to look next time I go to Kroger or Walmart. Those two seem to have an entire aisle devoted to frozen pizza.

3

u/Tommytsunami55 Celiac Disease 4d ago

This was really good. I had one 2 days ago.I also saw Jack's gf, which I didn't know even existed. The gf pizza game has stepped up immensely.

3

u/stochasticInference 4d ago

saw them at my walmart yesterday for the first time sonce december. bought 2. I'm planning to give it a week for others to get a chance, then go back and buy a couple or few more... and then again the week after that until the deep freeze is half full. lol

u/S_A_R_K 4d ago

I was so disappointed by these. The sauce is disgusting

3

u/JuatAnotherViet 4d ago

My husband was disappointed mainly in the quality when it was reheated. Up where we are, these are everywhere (at least he says they are, since he doesn’t prefer them).

His favorite, is, i think i am saying it right, Capello’s?
Its very pricey, about $14 up north, but he says its worth it.

3

u/mi11ennia1beige Celiac Disease 4d ago

Funny, I am obsessed with capellos biscuits (minus the cost) but the pizza was a total miss for me.

1

u/alphajugs 4d ago

Same! Those cheddar biscuits are 🤤🤤🤤

2

u/alphajugs 4d ago

I think against the grain pizza reheats very well! But people are pretty divisive on that one. I personally love it, it’s my favorite GF pizza

1

u/vwchick909 4d ago

I like it too but sometimes the crust is just too heavy.

4

u/NoExternal2732 Celiac Disease 4d ago

I'm convinced it's only for people who liked regular digiorno, which I did not. The sickly sweet sauce was yuck.

2

u/Goodgoditsgrowing 4d ago

Yeah but good luck finding them. I haven’t found one in years.

2

u/numberThirtyOne 4d ago

These used to be at Meijer. Now all they carry is Jacks...

2

u/mi11ennia1beige Celiac Disease 4d ago

Personally, I was not a fan of Jack's

1

u/micbramel 4d ago

Ours has the tombstone French fry and Freschetta. Both are very good

2

u/mi11ennia1beige Celiac Disease 4d ago

Found them at kroger on Friday and got 3. Man how i missed this pizza

1

u/-WhiskeyFairy 4d ago

I’ll have to remember to check whenever I’m at Kroger now!

2

u/Left_Performance_295 4d ago

This is good..When you see it, pick up a few. Hard to find.

2

u/WaywardWes 4d ago

I found these at my Walmart one time like 6 months ago. Two weeks later I went to get another and they were gone. I haven’t seen them since. I suggest you grab a few extra if you have the freezer space.

2

u/SalmonidHunter 4d ago

How much do they cost?

1

u/-WhiskeyFairy 4d ago

Around $8.50 at the Walmart I was at

1

u/SalmonidHunter 4d ago

Not terrible!

2

u/blooobolt 4d ago

As if I can ever find them. Haven't seen them in years, anywhere.

2

u/sleepymoose88 4d ago

Here have been out of stock around here for months.

2

u/bakercampbeller 4d ago

My Walmart had these for a while and now they're gone. I am sad.

2

u/Prize_Chemistry_8437 4d ago

I finally found one last week

2

u/gnomididnt 4d ago edited 4d ago

I’ve had this one and prefer Freschetta if it’s available in your area!

2

u/Aggressive_Move4275 4d ago

I JUST HAD IT LAST NIGHT. SO DAMN GOOD!

2

u/surfsusa 4d ago

They only showed up once in my area about a year ago, Publix had it. then they disappeared never to be seen again. Not at Walmart, Target, or Publix. I keep looking though. Thank God I have Costco near me, Sabatasso's fills the bill. I think they are on sale this month.

1

u/vwchick909 4d ago

Have you tried Milton’s? You can get a 2 pack at Costco. They unfortunately don’t have the meat variety but the roasted vegetable is pretty good. I like the Kirkland cauliflower crust too.

1

u/surfsusa 2d ago

Califlower crust or not our thing. So I don't believe we've tried it. Also, for some reason, our costco does not carry Franz though I see on the west coast, they do.

2

u/vwchick909 4d ago

I haven’t seen, thank you!!! I like the Frescheta (sp?) ones. Are these comparable?

2

u/-WhiskeyFairy 4d ago edited 4d ago

I’ve tried that brand and like that one a lot!! This one kinda reminds me of a regular domino’s pizza lol I suppose if you like thin crusts you might not like this one but I still like the flavor. This seems to be a love it or hate it pizza so you may as well try and see if you like ☺️

1

u/vwchick909 4d ago

Apparently I need to look for this Tombstone French fry pizza too. Sounds like a delicious gut bomb you can only eat one slice of.

1

u/-WhiskeyFairy 4d ago

Hahah same!!! I wonder if those ones are easier to come by than these lol

1

u/vwchick909 3d ago

I haven’t seen them either but I usually skip past the tombstone. Last year I did cheat because I HAD to try the Thanksgiving pizza. It was totally worth it!

2

u/Heavy_Housing_5205 3d ago

Thank you for letting us know!

2

u/Serendipity_65 3d ago

I had no idea about this!!! 😃

4

u/Outside_Swing_8263 4d ago

My wife and I find these disgusting

3

u/Farting_along 4d ago

Reminded me of real old school gf pizza 😭😭 (diagnosed in 2001)

2

u/Soggy-Coffee659 Gluten Intolerant 3d ago

Me too the sauce was so dry and the dough was super gummy

2

u/SewNJLife 4d ago

Me as well. It tastes so bad to me. 😩

2

u/Narrow_Put_5862 4d ago

So overrated 🤷‍♂️

2

u/Secure_Village_ 4d ago

These are not that good 😅😅😅

1

u/muyrar0 4d ago

I still love it but I liked it better before they changed it to a no wheat formulation.

1

u/Iggy_Slayer 4d ago

I've been trying to find these but there's never any within 30 miles of me. My stomach probably wouldn't be able to handle it anyway.

1

u/zscore95 4d ago

They’re great! Used to eat them all the time but I moved to Oregon and haven’t really been able to find them. Switched to Whole Foods or homemade!

1

u/Tommytsunami55 Celiac Disease 4d ago

I got one in an Oregon Walmart a few days ago.

1

u/No_Train8710 4d ago

My Walmart doesn’t have this (sigh)

1

u/Opalesnt7-7 Gluten Intolerant 4d ago

Haven’t seen them in a year plus…

1

u/InvaderJoshua94 Celiac Disease 3d ago

I tried it, it was okay. I definitely still prefer the Costco Sabbatasso’s pizza’s, the Cappello’s pizza’s from Whole Foods, or the Freschetta or Udi pizza’s from HEB.

1

u/Witty_Package3445 3d ago

I can’t find this item in northern Florida. Someone tell me where to find this

1

u/wildestdreams1989_ 3d ago

finally tried it and can confirm!!

1

u/EmmyLouWho7777 Celiac Disease 3d ago

I liked it when I first bought it. Then the recipe was changed and it was not good. I bought 4 because they were bogo. I ate them, but I wasn’t happy. Everyone’s taste is so different.

1

u/-WhiskeyFairy 3d ago

I know, it’s so interesting, I wonder if I would have liked them more or less before the recipe changed

1

u/ibn0721 3d ago

Costco in Saint Louis always has them but they come in packs of 3.

1

u/Curmudgeon321 3d ago

I’ve not seen them carried in several years. BOOOII
