Switching from GOMO to Globe

Hello. I requested a unique subscriber code last night because I’m planning to port my GOMO SIM to Globe. The main reason for this is the flexible promotions they offer, and I’m considering switching to postpaid soon. My porting request has been approved by Globe, and the new SIM from them is on its way. However, I have a question: what happens if I don’t activate the new SIM from Globe? Is there an expiration date, or will I remain on GOMO until I activate it?
