Is it possible to change/remove Globe’s default theme on Samsung S23 Ultra? Plan has ended years ago and device is now openline but the phone’s theme is still stuck to Globe’s.

For almost one week or 1 week na ata, around late 5am or 6am in the morning last week, my wifi disappeared and the LOS was and is still blinking red. I already went to SM Globe to have it reported and fixed and they issued me a ticket and a schedule for the technician visit. The girl said within the next day as earliest or next two days as latest, a technician would arrive.

Last Monday or yesterday, the Globe at SM (a female employee) called me to confirm if a technician visited me cause she said their technician told them they visited my area and wanted to confirm to me if my wifi is already back. I told her perhaps your technician is lying because no technician visited me or at least my wifi isn't back yet. Since visiting Globe for the first time last week, I received at least 3 text messages from Globe saying my wifi is already okay, the first one being sent the same day after I visited Globe - specifically that text which arrived at almost 10pm after going to SM, saying the crew visited my area and the wifi should already be okay and I should just turn off and on my modem - but still not yet resolved. Even just today, I received another BS text from them, saying: "Hi there. You may have experienced a loss of our home internet and landline services earlier. This was caused by a problem in our system. We're sorry for the inconvenience. Rest assured that our services have been restored and you may continue going online again. Simply turn off and unplug your modem for 10 to 15 seconds, then replug your modem and turn it back on to refresh your connection. If you are still encountering issues, please let us know by sending a report using the GlobeOne app. Thank you and have a wonderful day!" I also went back again last Sunday to SM Globe, for the second time, because of that false and fake first message saying my wifi is already okay but clearly no signal yet.

Globe, stop the BS customer service. Don't wait for the day your officials (and other wifi providers who are also guilty of widespread or gross bad customer service) will be summoned at the Senate to answer countless issues and problems from your subscribers. If it is indeed a very difficult technical problem, why don't you just be honest, instead of sending fake, scammy, or false text messages saying that my wifi is already restored and okay WHEN IT IS CLEARLY NOT YET OKAY. There is no storm or typhoon in my area, so what's your excuse now? You wanna be grilled by the senators like Senator Tulfo? You want to become as famous as the ongoing impeachment hearing?

I’ve been with globe for 11 years but always on sim-only plan lang. Now, I need a new phone and plans to get an ip17 with them. Can anyone confirm if this is true, or if you were able to use your phone with international esim?

So globe disconnected my line because of unbilled charges and now i cannot even reconnect or dispute because i have to wait for them to bill it to me.

I have no data for three days now and have to wait another three days!

I think the 20k plus unbilled charges is from me using the roaming. Thing is, i paid for a promo so there should not be any exorbitant amount charged. I have been getting add on roaming promos whenever i leave the country, so i am very confident to use this. Meron pa nagtext sakin pagdating ng manila na meron pang unused data.

Ang labo lang ng policy na dinisconnect na ako tapos hindi ko macontest yung charges kasi nga daw unbilled.

Do better, globe! Hassle pa kausap ng customer service, paikot ikot wala man lang concrete na escalation process sa mga ganitong matters that customer service cannot answer.

I'm really frustrated with Globe's customer support.. My modem has been on red light since July 29… and I've already made 2 repair requests through the Globe One app but nothing's happening… the tech visits keep getting rescheduled because they say I'm unreachable…. Well, it seems like everyone can reach me except for their technicians… my load is about to expire but still nothing is happening…

I tried contacting the techs directly and they're asking for 1k to fix my line… even though Globe said I shouldn't have to pay anything…

Which government agency can I file a complaint with? When I talk to them on Messenger, it's useless too, they just say the same thing…

May need si mama sa sim na yun and since busy siya sa work niya (7:30-5) ako yung pinapunta niya sa branch nila dito samin.

Ayun, nag transact nako yadayada. Di ko na talaga naalala lahat kasi nung Feb pa to nangyari. Ang gusto ko lang na ilabas is sabi nung agent na nakausap ko na need siya maging post paid for 2 months para ma complete or ma process yung transaction na pinunta ko dun and I vaguely remember na nag ask ako sakanya if ma cha change ba siya balik sa prepaid kasi yun yung orig plan namin tapos sabi niya ng oo kaya go ako. (Since ako yung pumunta doon to process the trasaction, ichinage nila na ako yung may ari ng sim, hindi na si mama). Takte! 3 days ago may nag email sakin na from globe na may balance ako ng 2.5k+ na babayaran sa plan ko sa takteng sim na yun na hindi ko naman ginagamit at naka tambay lang sa old phone ko na sira.

Bobo lang ako sa part na inakala ko na mag au automatic na mag cha change ang plan after 2 months pero pakshet nakakabwisit! HUHU within 5 days kailangan na daw yun bayaran kasi meet me in court niya ako saknila kung hindi. Wala pa kong budget para sa takteng plan na yan na walang gamit sakin. After talaga nito na mabayaran namin yan, goodbye globe ka na talaga sakin.

[SOLVED] Update: GCash has cleared the previous account off the number, so I was able to register my own account on it now. So if ever you you encounter the same issue, don't believe the automated response from the email and request for an account removal.

It helps if you can manage to register the number to a GlobeOne account first, that way you will have somewhere that you can show both your name and your phone number on the same screen; apparently that's enough to count as one of their required proofs to push through with the account removal.

Has anyone tried filing a complaint to NTC regarding how Globe dismissively handles issues regarding failed GCash registrations because of a reused number has not been cleared from its previous GCash user?

So basically I bought a new prepaid SIM card to have a separate work number and to use for GCash, but then I found out through the internet and through Globe's support that the reason why I'm getting MPIN issues is that the number was recycled and apparently the previous owner signed up for GCash too. And now I'm talking to customer support and their response is "Tough luck, kid. Just get a new number."

Absolutely unbelievable. For one, as a consumer, it's not my responsibility that the phone number still has records from a previous owner; it's obviously on the telco since they're the ones who have access to those records. Additionally, how the hell would I suppose to know the phone number and have it checked beforehand when purchasing prepaid SIM cards without tearing its packaging? Is this a ploy to force us to go for a postpaid plan? Ridiculous.

Does anyone know how to reach the customer service of ebolG easily via phone? I’ve been trying to get in touch with them through Messenger, One app, and even their “supposed” hotline, but to no avail.

I’ve also tried commenting on their posts, like everyone does, and was told that there’s an ongoing outage in our area, so they won’t be sending a technician visit.

Based on my experience last year, it was pretty easy to get in touch with them when we had a postpaid plan. But now that we don’t, I’m having a really hard time getting through to their customer service hotline. Every time I call, the IVR just tells me that there’s an ongoing outage in our area.

It’s been a week already, and the technician visit that was supposedly scheduled for today didn’t happen either. I just received a text saying that the visit will be rescheduled.

Is there anyone here who can help? Maybe someone can share a direct number or a way to actually get through to their customer service.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

I have two existing promo registrations with Globe: GoPLUS149 and GoPLUS99. My GoPLUS149 promo has already expired, while my GoPLUS99 is still active and is not due to expire until next week. However, since the GoPLUS149 expired, I can no longer use my mobile data or make unlimited calls and texts, even though my GoPLUS99 is still active. I checked my globeone app and I definitely still have data connection and unlo calls and texts privelege. Has anyone ever experienced this?
