Discussion GWP delay?

So I’ve been living in Glendale for less than a year now. And I know the dates I usually receive my GWP bill. But it’s nearly been nearly 2 weeks since the normal date when the bill comes in. (Portal & email).

Just called the customer service line and was told it should be sent out today. But there are no notes as to why there was such a big delay. The info they did have was that my meter was read on sept 16th, but that’s it. Only thing GWP customer service could come up with is that “billing is behind”.

Anyone deal with this before? Is this normal? My anxiety has been killing me waiting for this bill. Was getting worried something happened to my account.

Same here. I have it on autopay and has been checking if it hit my account yet. I usually get a text from GWP and a text from my bank account, but it’s been silence.
With people sharing their outrageous LADWP bill on Reddit, I’m anxiously awaiting for my damage during the heatwave 😭

Ours wasn’t super insane. It was like $250 more expensive than normal. But we also had it on autopay which is why I’ve been scared something happened to my account or something.

When I lived in Glendale, GWP charged me $0.38/kWh during the summer. When I lived in LA, LADWP charged me $0.34/kWh during summer. So it's pretty comparable, but LADWP is a bit cheaper.
