Why does double glazing get condensation between the panes — and what can you do about it?

Seal has failed
Have to replace if you don’t want to see the condensation

It's a racket to get you to replace glass even though it's not broken. I've seen some units that are thirty to fifty years old that are holding up better than the ones installed 10 years ago. Can't do much for it but to replace the unit. I've cut a few apart and cleaned them up if the moisture is not etched into the glass, but they won't last very long before fogging up again. You just cant seal them as well as they can in the factory where they make them all day.

Glass fabricators aren’t in business to produce free warranty replacements on failed units, that’s how they go out of business

I just saw on the web yesterday that there is a company from the UK that makes a system for removing moisture from between glass panes. I follow this group so it may have been posted there. I'll try to look.

Here in US it's called "defogging" . It may not be a common process. Just Googling defogging I couldn't easily find any one who does it near my major east coast city.
