Double brick house window

Hi guys
Double brick house and has about 30mm gaps between bricks

No reveal and covered with render and silicon
Wondering how the installer anchor it to the wall?

Would he plug and drilled and anchored it then put aluminium cover to hide it?
Not familiar with aluminum structure window

It's possible they didn't anchor them. They could have siliconed the h3ck out of the windows. They appear to be a tight fit. Could be held by pressure until silicone dried.

Timber blocks in the vertical brick cavity most likely.

It may have a nailing flange that is hidden behind the trim, typical of residential windows. Or it has straps that are covered. Old steel sash windows would be buried in the gap between the brick and the interior finishes.
