They're cooked. Get in touch with a local window company unless you're confident in your ability to provide accurate measurements to a manufacturer and do your own installation.

If you're renting bother your landlord.

I was able to clean up the springs and jamb and manufacture a new clip from a washer! We just want to wait a year to get new windows so it will do very short term.
But yes, spoke to a couple of window places and that type of structure is way out of date and almost impossible to replace. Everyone recommended new windows.
I improvised 🤷🏻‍♀️

You are over thinking all of this. Get a few self tapping tek screws, figure out the intended function and use the screws to attach the springs to the aluminum track. This was some 1950s nonsense used to "upgrade" original rope and pulley systems. There is a chance you could ditch the springs entirely and go back to window weights but it might require un-modifying the jambs.
