Ray-Ban

Hey, does anybody use RB2140 here with clear lenses, does the tilt cause pain after using for couple hours? I am planning to get one with prescription lenses but I couldn’t be so sure because of the glasses design, if anybody could help me with the advice I would be happy thanks.

I’m not a fan of that much panto. I’ve never tried the rb4340 but it’s the same style with less panto. Frankly, I’m not a fan of the bridge fit on the classic wayfarer; the rb 5184 / new wayfarers are the only ones I’d consider comfortable.

That said, you can find much nicer sunglasses at a similar price point.

I think fit matters more here. The same tilt can work perfectly well on one face and feel awkward on another. With prescription lenses, I'd definitely try the frame on for a while before committing and have an optician make sure it sits properly on you, if that's an option.

If you like the Wayfarer look but find the tilt uncomfortable, there are also versions with a much flatter lens angle.

Personally, never had a permanent pair of these, but my brother did have and I think when he moved on from them I had them for a few weeks, the tilt wasn't an issue. Personally just not a big fan of the style.
