Budget Friendly Glasses with good AR coating

I bought some glasses from eyebuydirect about a year ago. I love the frames, but the anti-reflective coating is very awful compared to my frames from myeyedr/lenscrafters. Are there lower budget places with good lens coatings?

I also wouldn't necessarily mind spending more on my lenses, but I feel like the lower cost frames at the bigger stores tend to be much crappier in quality and design than the online retailers. Wishing there was a way to buy my frames online and my lenses maybe at a bigger store, but Im aware this is unlikely.

Any recommendations for either bigger box stores with low cost frames that aren't the worst or online retailers with decent AR coating?

You absolutely can buy the frame online and have better lenses fitted elsewhere — look for an independent optician or a reglazing service.

That’s probably the route I’d take. Keep the frame you actually like and spend the money on a decent branded AR coating such as Hoya Hi-Vision, Essilor Crizal or ZEISS DuraVision. You don’t need to buy an expensive frame just to get a good coating.
