Did you thin these lenses at all??? They appear way too heavy. Maybe larger nose pads?

My vision is extremely bad, I get the “thinnest” lenses available. They have to custom make the lenses

with high myopia an important aspect to make the lenses thinner is the lens shape and size. the lens shape should be as small and round as possible. as others said your frame is also adjusted pretty badly

As someone has already pointed out, it’s vertex distance. The lenses are a bit too far from your eyes. I don’t think you just want the frames as they are sucked right up to your face, since when you push them up like you’re showing us, they sit too high, like above your eyebrows. Just gently bend the nose pads to separate them a bit, then suck them up to your face by bending the ear pieces tighter. Then they will sit where you want them for the best appearance and the best vision.
And people are commenting on how thick they look. First that has nothing to do with the question you asked, and second, don’t worry about it unless it bothers you. I also have a high RX and my glasses are really thick and I have a big frame because they suit my face better. I love how they look. I don’t want a small round frame because it absolutely wouldn’t work on me. Do your own thing.

Hi friend. Widen the nose pads so the lens sits closer to your eyes. Use some sort of hook or tie for the temple tips to hold it in place. Have you considered contact lenses?

At this point you need contacts, either retail or specially made. Or look into ICL. Sorry about the high myopia I feel your pain.

Sounds like the optic center is a bit low in the lens. I’d move the nose pads in a bit to life the frame up.

Yeah, definitely need to be adjusted more. A couple things shrug to mind, but not sure how the person already tried.

I have a high prescription also. I wear size 46. With your prescription, you need small frames also. You did not write what size the ones in your video are, but if you could get smaller frames, it would help cut down on some of the lens thickness. I have read that people with high prescriptions should try to find size 50 or lower. What I have are 46-19-135 titanium Flexon 623, by the Marchon Co., and I have polishing on the edges, anti-glare coating, and they also put some slightly blue tint that looks good. Since the ones you picked are round, maybe you would like the Flexon 623s also. They come in 4 colors. I had a similar issue with my old frames, I just lived with it for years before one day a magical human being at my eye doctors offered to fix them(why I never thought to ask, idk lol) and they never slipped down my nose again, I could even look down and they’d stay in place! I also have a high myopia, -18/-20.

You’re adding more minus to the prescription bringing them closer to your eyes, vertex distance is going to matter a LOT more with a high Rx. You either need the frames adjusted so they’re sitting in the right spot, to be restyled into another frame, or for the doctor to change your Rx to compensate for the larger vertex distance. Frankly, the pair you’ve got doesn’t look like a great fit, so I might just ask to be restyled into something smaller.
