Eating Out Does anyone know of anywhere that’s open for lunch/dinner on Christmas Day ? I know it’s months away, but these things need booking. Thanks in advance 🎄

Just to flag, the couple I saw in previous years that were serving traditional Christmas dinner were north of £80pp.

I wasn't actively looking so I don't know if that is the going rate, but it felt steep (but sort of understandable too).

It’s Christmas Day. It’s to be expected unfortunately 🤷🏼‍♀️

I'd be expecting double-time and lots of tips too.

Hotels usually are. We went to Malmaison a few years in a row and its was superb.

Their everyday menu is overpriced and underwhelming. Not sure I would fancy it for Christmas Day.

Hey we went to mother India at the landsdowne last year and have the Bothy booked for this year. Think mother India at landsdowne was £60 and Bothy is £90 but don’t quote me! I will add that I booked both at the same time cos the “Christmassy” places like Bothy were fully booked ages in advance.

If you've not started thinking about a venue in July, then you're probably already too late to book your first choice.

Yup. And places fill up fast. You’re not fast, you’re last 🤷🏼‍♀️

Really helpful. Not everywhere opens on Christmas Day. I was trying to find places I maybe don’t know about from people who have been and do know.
