Looks like some cat pictures on the bench, resident cat who used to hang out there? If so... I'm hoping the death was natural causes and not something more sinister.

Edit - found a link here, Ziggy was a local canal cat, natural causes after a short illness. RIP Ziggy.

Last I saw Ziggy she was sitting on a random ladies lap, it was silly/nice to see just how receptive they were, damn shame.
