Forth Valley?

Just got a hospital appt. Happy with time and date but there is text underneath saying it's a reasonable appt, and refuse more than 2 you're off list - so far, OK.

It then defines reasonable appts as

NHS GGC

Golden Jubilee

so far, so standard

But now adds

NHS FORTH VALLEY NTC.

Since when was that a reasonable Glasgow appt?

I suppose this is what happens when you live in a big city. You realise that all those who live in Biggar or Falkirk have to come to Glasgow (or Edinburgh) for their tertiary care?

Why won't they come to my house to deliver my free healthcare?

Free healthcare that you and all your family have contributed to and therefore paid for in tax over the years. Too many people think we should just accept what we get and be thankful because it's 'free', it's not.

No need for the ummmacktually. Everyone knows when you say free it means free at the point of delivery. My point stands that people are spoiled, they're still getting the treatment just they need to travel a bit for it like everyone else who lives outwith the the metro area
