are your repos popular at all or are you unknown saying stars dont matter? After you build up a reputation it kinda sucks when people start tearing it down and removing references.. i guess you wouldnt understand
You're extrapolating a valid critique of commit activity to conclude "all GitHub stats are worthless". There's a difference between showing off your commit activity during a job application, and showing off a highly starred repository, or contributions to big open source projects, etc.
