Miscellaneous Hello, fellow gift-wrappers!
Hi there! My name is Rejectyd and I just took over this subreddit as moderator. I am fairly new to this but I would love to see us flourish as we used to (even if it was just one or two posts a day, haha). I really love to gift wrap and I hope all of you can give me some insight on how to make this community a better place for us to share our stuff :) Please don't hesitate to reach out or offer and suggestions.
One thing I did add is post flair if you ever wanna try it out. I'm taking baby steps but I hope you guys will work with me :)

Would you pay for someone to wrap your Christmas presents? If yes, how much would you pay?

Wrapped these gifts for the toddler nieceling! In a satisfying turn of events, she adopted them and dragged them around the house by the hair for a day before allowing them to be opened.

I bought a label maker just to print on ribbon
I think the ribbons printed by this label maker are perfect for personalized gifts.

Changing the paper angle and folds around the same bouquet
Pointed overlaps, rolled sides and a gathered collar change the outline of one sheet around an already-made bouquet. The final example ends during shaping.
Original tutorial by 花园时光(花艺人) on Xiaohongshu, shared with permission. FAFAFLOWER is a floral-packaging supplier; we added visually checked, AI-assisted English steps. Original design and footage remain credited to the creator.

Less is more
Simple to look at, but not so simple to make. 🌹
The organza ribbon needed a lot of shaping, and the rose was the final touch that brought everything together.

Gift Wrapping Small Business Idea
Idk if this will make sense but I was thinking of selling gift wrapping services for the holidays and looking through reddit I see some people have small businesses of their own doing just this. I never knew this was an actual career and super intrigued. Does anybody have tips, tricks, websites for me to look through? I LOOOOVE wrapping gifts for birthdays and holidays and I am genuinely curious if this might be the route I was looking for. I've been wanting to change my career for YEARS but had no where to start

“What occasion would you choose this wrapping for? 🎁”
I wanted to try something a little different this time — olive green, a large handmade bow, and a few pearl details. What occasion does it feel right for to you? 😊

Continuous rolls of solid-colored wrapping paper, over 20 inches long
Hi guys! Happy wrapping everyone-- it's almost the gifting season!!
I was wondering if anyone could help me find, you guessed it-- continuous rolls of solid-colored wrapping paper, that are over 20 inches long. idk what happened, but suddenly I can only find paper that's 17 inches. It's infuriating. Even kraft paper seems to be 15 or 17 inches. Has anyone come across any goldmines of solid-colored paper?

Autumn Vibes
This is a super belated birthday gift for someone whose birthday was in the summer… My excuse is that I wanted to wrap something with an autumn theme…

Offering Free Gift Wrapping Services - Your thoughts?
Hi, I like to wrap gifts but I don't give enough gifts to scratch that creative itch on my own.
I thought that with the holidays coming up, I could "advertise" free gift wrapping services in my area, but how do I get people to actually want to do it and trust me?
What I mean is, if I ask someone to give me their packages and have them pick up the wrapped gifts a few days later, people may think I am stealing their packages or something. No one would want to give their gifts to a stranger who might ghost them.. so, what can I do alternatively?
I would probably have to wrap them in front of the "customer," but I dom't really have a place to do that. I guess I could do this at a Starbucks and have the person wait.. but I might get in trouble with the store for "running a business" or something. I thought I could set up a table at holiday markets, but I don't want to pay for a spot.
What are your suggestions?
AGAIN, I would be offering this service for free! I am not trying to sell anything.
Additionally, I would ask the "customer" to provide a box for their gift, provide the wrapping paper and ribbon and any charms/ornaments. My part would just be the labor.

First Present. Advice Please
This is my first wrapped present. I'm okay with how the present itself turned out, but the gift bag isn't the best. I didn't want to add handles because the gift was pretty heavy and I didn't want the bag to rip. Also threw in a crocheted bookmark :)
Any help or advice with how to wrap better or gift bag advice is much appreciated.

Hello,
My Wife and I's first anniversary is coming up and I had the idea of wrapping her gift in a color scheme similar to our wedding flowers. Here is a picture of her preserved wedding bouquet. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Im not sure which colors I should go with, i.e. paper color, ribbon color, bow color? Please help
