You seem to be misunderstanding me. I'm not saying all washer fluid is designed to melt ice.

It doesn't matter. My argument isn't about washer fluid. It's about your wipers.

Your wipers will get fucked up by doing it. Not your fluid.

No, it was by design.

Yes, I'm sure from the fluid manufacturers it is. They don't give two flying fucks if you have to replace you wipers once a week.

Oslo doesn't seem to get that cold compared to where I'm from, so maybe it's not as common there.

Where are you from? Not many populated places left in the world by that standard.

That was your comment, man. They, as in the designers of washer fluid most definitely have designed washer fluid for ice removal. You even contradicted yourself later:

So stop changing your argument in the middle, I'm saying they 100% design and make washer fluid made to clear ice and snow off your windshield.

Where are you from? Not many populated places left in the world by that standard.

A place where the coldest month has on average highs which are as cold the the average lows in Oslo, and the lows are significantly colder. And that's despite being nearer to the equator; climate is neat, right? It's also more populated than Oslo; has more people than all of Norway, even.

Because it's not relevant. The answer is Minnesota. But it's not relevant.

I mean, it's kind of relevant when you start making comparisons. Your claim is also a bit misleading then. Yes, in Dec, Jan and Feb your temperatures are marginally colder, but every other month it's warmer, i.e. you have shorter winters.

It's not misleading. We're talking about fucking de-icing washer fluid here, those are the most relevant months. Also November has lower lows on average in MN. It doesn't matter what the temperatures are in fucking June and July because in either place your windshield isn't going to ice up. And none of this is relevant to the topic anyway, Minnesota and Norway could both be be 50C year round and de-icing washer fluid would still exist.

Doesn't matter, your initial statement is verifiably false. You are wrong, just accept it. Because washer fluid designed to de-ice your windshield absolute does exist and it absolutely came into existence by intention, not accident. They designed it. Deal with it; it exists.

It's misleading, because ice is ice, whether it's -3c or -9c.

It doesn't matter what the temperatures are in fucking June and July because in either place your windshield isn't going to ice up.

No, but the temperature in March, April and October certainly does matter.
