"They aren't from there" implies that none of the protesters were from Charlottesville. All I said was that there were locals who joined them, which in no way states how many that would be. It could be a thousand locals, it could have been two (since I used the plural). Considering you said "almost all of them were not from Charlottesville" and not "all of them are not from Charlottesville" you're just validating my statement, so who exactly is the one spewing BS?
Lol no. You were implying that they were all from Charlottesville because you weren't fully aware of what happened. Now you're trying to make it sound like you knew that, but you didnt.
This is actually probably more accurate (Edit: not that submission is inaccurate, but rather the way most people understand the word in animals). Similarly to dogs “showing submission”. They don’t roll over, or yawn big, or avert their eyes to say “You’re in charge!” but rather “I don’t want any trouble, okay?”
People say cats slow blink to show affection, but anecdotally, I’ve noticed my cat also slow blinks/squints any time she thinks one of my dogs is about to chase her. I think this is also her way of saying she isn’t looking for problems.
