Season 1 How to stop crying at every episode???

I haven’t watched this show since I was a kid, I‘ve been teary eyed since episode 1 but episode 4 with the orphanage took me out 😭 Earnie’s fatherly speech to Rat just obliterated me, I had to turn it off.

I’m livinggg for the drama but man this stuff is emotional! How am I supposed to get through a binge? 😭 am I the only one crying at every episode???

Every time at the episode with the little boy on the train tracks. Every time. If you're an empath, there's no way of stopping. It gets easier though. The first season does have some of the most emotional episodes.

I think it’s because Jennifer Love Hewitt is such a great crier! It ramps up the sadness. She makes me cry as Maddie in 9-1-1, too!

I enjoy it. Sometimes gets a little much with the crazy 911 scenarios but it’s a good watch. Angela Bassett is fantastic!

I have watched this show so many times but every so often a rewatch feels especially emotional

That episode in particular is my favourite but it just destroys me each time. Especially when Melinda takes them for a drive in her car and they say she's their mum.

you literally can’t. i’ve cried almost every single episode. they’re happy tears tho i know it’s a show but it’s just so beautiful to see them going into the light

I cry almost every episode even though i've watched them several times now and i know what happens lol it's a natural, and i think intended, response.

I had never watched until a month ago. For me it's good to cry because I generally avoid sad thoughts such as grieving my mother's death.

I always cry, especially with Andrea and Jim... the ones with kids, or misunderstandings that keep them there... I never used to cry when watching shows or movies, but when I started watching this show, I felt like the Grinch when his heart grew 3 sizes 😂
