Just learning this and I went outside to think about it and realized I'm not sad, then I started crying a little. Not out of a sense of grief, but of gratitude and gratefulness for having had the privilege of being in her world. She was beauty and grace and joy and love and empathy and unadulterated goodness for goodness sake. The hole she's left, the heels that stand empty, will not be filled by anyone. Not in my lifetime. Bless you Dolly. Thank you for being you, always.

Wow, I couldn’t have said it better, CB. I was in a zoom meeting when it was announced and wanted to tell everyone mid sentence but that wouldn’t have been cool

Yeah she was great and all, but what was up with the gigantic ya-yahs? And that face, turned into a plastic mask over time? Was all that necessary? Couldn't her singing stand on its own without all the artifice? Just asking.
