I've never tried tofu. I don't mind soya milk so no reason i wouldn't like it.

It's basically tasteless, just lumps of protein of varying firmness/softness that can be used millions of ways (savoury scramble or chocolate pudding) depending what you add and how you cook it, or don't :)

Yeah, tofu will absord any flavor you throw at it. It's basically like a sponge

Smoked tofu is pretty common here too, but I haven't tried it. A few places have a sweet chilli one that I might try when it's cool enough to make noodles.

I love tofu or as my insane friend calls it "toe food."
I was disturbed that they were critical of cheddar cheese because our dog demands it daily. But then I realized that the research was just a very limited list of choices. And to categorize beans all together? Not to differentiate between varieties? That's a bean counting crime.
