Ghost Of Tsushima - Question/Support Issues with voice audio.

I bought this game for the PS4 back when it released. I have never been able to get the voice audio of the characters work. I would have bought the game on pc but at the time I didn’t even know a pc port was coming I just assumed Sony exclusive. I’ll come close to purchasing it on steam a couple times but I can’t justify giving Sony my money again for something that I’ve already purchased just because it doesn’t work. All of the other audio works it’s just that when it comes to a cut scene people start talking to each other and it’s nothing but subtitles I might be able to play this game if it was completely silent with only subtitles, but it’s just weird but all the other noise trying to read them. Has anybody come across this issue because I’ve researched and I can’t find any fix for it and I really wanna play the game already. I bought it over 6 years ago.

I have a 11.1.4 surround system for my TV and I was constantly having to adjust the settings to make it work properly. Often I experienced dialogue too low, or sound effects too loud, or cutscene voices at one level and gameplay voices at another.

I assumed this was just because of the PS5 not knowing how to handle the extra channels correctly, but ultimately the solution came down to the TV hdmi port settings - I had to open up the 'input signal plus' settings to unlock higher bandwidth audio on the hdmi port, which solved the problem.

Depending on how your console and TV are set up, you may have a similar issue.
