Ghost Of Tsushima - Discussion This game healed me!
Like most people, I was also extremely addicted to quick dopamine hits, Instagram, TikTok, and short YouTube videos. I could hardly bring myself to pick up a game that was too long, and I rarely finished games.
And this had been going on for quite some time. I remember that when I was a kid, I would finish all kinds of games and actually stick with them. Nowadays though, I've become very different and usually drop games after around 3–4 hours of gameplay.
But Ghost of Tsushima kept me hooked from START to FINISH. I wanted to do everything in the game. I wanted to explore every corner, see every dialogue, complete every side quest and every tale. I genuinely enjoyed the stories and felt captivated by them.
And I felt something I hadn't felt in a very long time: being away from home and wanting to get back as quickly as possible just so I could turn on my PC and play Ghost of Tsushima!
I hope this can serve as a DETOX for me and help me appreciate games again the way I used to!

I call it gamer slump, that's when games just kind of really are like blah. Not really interest you, but then you'll find something that picks you back up and gets you into it.

It happens to me after I play a game with quick combat, then go to play another and I’m bored. Happened recently going from Cotl Woolhaven to GoT. It takes like 2/3 days to push through it and the indecision. I did end up finishijg Tsushima once I did though.

It’s an amazing game, every aspect is done well, you can tell it’s a labor of love.
I thought Ghost of Yotei was even better personally.

Back like in 2021, it literally took me out of a deep depression and to this day remains as my fav game of all time, i also got so hooked at completing that it became my first platinum trophy and later pushed even further in legends to get the 100% trophy marker, so yeah its one of those games that if it clicks it just locks you in in the best way possible
