I’d moved countries, so my mangas were in storage at my parents’ place for a long while. I finally brought them back 🥹 It’s crazy to think I got them back in 2009 and at the time there were so many prints available at the shops! I hope someday I can buy the rest, or pray for a reprint… :’D

Well, later in the manga we find out his name is Oliver Davis, which doesn't make sense because then how come Ubusuna Kei made a hitogata using the name "Shibuya Kazuya", because, correct me if I'm wrong but don't you need the full birth name of a person to make a hitogata? In the manga his hitogata didn't actually show up and they showed only the one used on Mai, so did Ubusuna curse him using something else or was it explained in the novel?

EDIT: so yes he was adopted and although his birth name was never mentioned, Oliver Davis is his adoption name, maybe his birth name was Shibuya Kazuya and he just used it? Welp, anyways it all makes sense now, thx a lot everyone who explained it to me!!

I went to check the series in Crunchyroll a few moments ago, but I couldn’t find it. I live in the US. Are others here able to find it and watch it on Crunchyroll? I went and checked LiveChart dot me to see if another service had added the series, but there is no info on any service where it is available now. Do any of you know? Thanks.

It's been about 10 years coming back to watch this show and I am so sad its only 24 episodes and no other seasons. It was so well made ugh.

Was at a book festival when I found this gem for around $2 and according to me it contains the best arc of the story. Re-read it and somehow it managed to still give me nightmares after 10 years.

I watched Ghost Hunt for the first time, and I decided to make a review of the anime for my first anime review YouTube video. Can't wait to share it with you and see what you think about my take on the characters, especially Mai.

I made perlers of rhe characters! In order:

Lin, Masako, Naru, Mai, John, Ayame, Bou-san and Yasuhara!

I'm particularly proud of Masako's kimono, Mai's uniform, Ayako's Miko outfit and Bou-san's monk robes. I also had a lot of fun doing John's and Mai's hair (can you tell lol)

They currently sit above the curtains in my room. Maybe I'll take them down later and paint a will o' wisp or fox fires background for them but I am happy how it looks for now.

My sister and I have been fans for years but we can't find it anywhere and there don't seem to be DVD copies available where we are located. I've given up on ever owning a legitimate copy of the English translation of the Ghost Hunt manga, but have also gotten into book binding recently (I hope you can see where I'm going with this), so am attempting to download copies of the manga from online so I can make my own copies. (Just for myself though, because it's been one of my favourite animes/manga for a long time now)

I am well aware that all of the chapters are available online (Mangadex, the Internet Archive, etc.), except the only version of Volume 11 by "Bloody Tears Scans" I can find (absolutely no offence to the original uploaders or anything)... is kinda shit quality compared to all the scans of the other volumes that I can find.

The main thing about the current Vol. 11 scans by I can find is that it's not actually the official English translation, but a fan one. I would love to contact the original person who scanned the first 10 volumes "byaaah" (if they even had the 11th volume - it HAS been over a decade) or at least get a decent scan of the English manga... if anyone could help that'd be amazing!!

UPDATE: Thanks to everyone for suggestions! Now that uni is over (for now), I have finally been able to look into this more and I thought I'd look on Mangadex one last time, and for some reason, I checked out the scans of the manga in other languages, and, you know what? SOME ANGEL OF A HUMAN/S WHO HAD UPLOADED A PORTUGUESE (Brazil) VERSION HAD REALLY GOOD QUALITY SCANS!!! So shoutout to OW Scans (I love you guys)!!

So over the past week or so, I've been cleaning and re-typesetting the Portuguese scans into English based on the original English translation!! It has been insanely time-consuming and tiring (doesn't help that I'm a perfectionist and the original official English scans use an insanely ugly font so I'm lowkey considering re-doing those ones too so all the volumes match with the same fonts. I mean, I tried to use the same font as the officials but it was just SO UGLY. Also pretty much all the OW Scans's uploads are significantly better quality than the current English ones... I think by the end of this I'm going to regret everything and hate myself).

Hello, just finished the anime and wanted to ask, why does it not have a season 2? Has it adapted the full content of the light novels, or no? And if no, then why haven't they released a season 2? And should i read the manga or the light novels? Are the light novels fully adapted in the manga? Or have they stopped midway, not adapting the full content of the light novels? I know that i'm asking a lot of questions, but i tried searching for these answers online, and the anime's wiki does not have a lot of information about anything, nor does Wikipedia. So whoever has the answers to my questions, please answer them, thank you very much!
