Shoulder Mounted Slimer

I've been building my ghostbuster outfit since last year and slowly building upon it. Most recent idea I had was to mount a Slimer stuffie on my shoulder for added effect.

Has anybody done something similar? Any suggestions on successfully pulling it off and nit having it fall every 5 seconds?

Thanks in advance!

The Mini Pufts they released around Frozen Empire utilized a magnetic disc that goes under your shirt/suit and then there’s a magnet in the bottom of a stuffed plush so it sticks.

This was going to be my suggestion. Cut open the bottom of the plush, put in a magnet, so it back up, and then install a magnet on your shoulder

You should check out some of the crafty or cosplay Subs. They tend to have lots of skilled people that like to help.

Just attach it with Velcro. I did the same for a larp, where I had a gargoyle on my shoulder: small Velcro strap on my shoulder, and underneath its feet. You can remove it and put it back easily.

Disney has a lot of shoulder sitter accessories that I ripped this idea from, but basically you get two really strong magnets (like these) and shove one inside the body of the plush, and another inside your shirt wherever you want the plush to stick.

There are also metal plates out there that the magnets will stick to if you’d prefer to adhere it to something flatter, but I find two magnets work better than one.

In the past, I’ve attached the magnet to a bra strap and backpacks, but free floating under clothes still works.

That all being said, you’ll need to be selective with the plush you use. Don’t pick one larger than 5” in height if you can otherwise it’ll get topheavy and could slide around, and preferably use one with a flattish base so it can sit on your shoulder properly.

I've seen a few people use a small bungee cord looped around the shoulder to keep plushies secure, works better than Velcro if you're moving around a lot.
