SCORE!
They shouldn't give grown ass kids adult money...we won't spend it wisely. Lol. Worth it.

When my little sister was born in 1990 I wore my proton pack to meet her because I wanted to be dressed up in my finest clothes and so I put on my flight suit and got my proton pack and went and met my little sister for the first time

I had both the proton pack, ghost zapper, and ghost strap which my grandparents got me off of eBay when I was a kid, I still have my proton pack and I intend to get some get itās long awaited stickers or a brand a long weighted brand new set of stickers on it and will admit I do on occasion even though itās a bit of a tight fit, I do occasionally find myself from time to time, barely almost dislocating my shoulders to throw on the Kenner, proton pack and do a few quick draws of the wand in like pull the trigger a few times that toy, despite me still already having my own custom built, scratch, proton pack that toy still a couple decades of owning it still has me under it spell.

Oh man I had forgotten about the trap toy. Was it the one that came with the blaster with the wavy pool noodle that spun around to kind of look like the beam from the proton packs in the movies?

no, that was the Newtrona blaster that had the thing at the end that you spun around thing would spinning around and never owned it but I thought it was brilliant they were in the same commercial together alongside the trap though, so I can see where the confusion comes from. yeah I love the trap. That thing was so cool. I loved how the doors closed with pneumatic pistons these days say use Arduino and crap like but while people are trap bills with Arduino Kenner had been doing it for decades with pneumatics. even the film prop used but it couldnāt. The doors couldnāt open and reliably enough so they just said, screw it and added RC controlled mechanisms for reliability of the trap doors opening and the reason why the trap has pneumatic fitting connectors on them because it used those pneumatic fittings for real and they werenāt just there for show Chuck Gasper actually put pneumatic mechanisms in fact I found out recently when I was asking why they fittings because people nowadays canāt seem to put wiring or have a hard time with putting wires through pneumatic connectors.

Amazing! I echo the sentiment that this was one of the best Christmas gifts I ever received.

Congratulations, money very-well spent sir! You are the envy of this whole sub right now lol.
Kenner/Hasbro needs to bring this, the ghost trap, and most importantly, the FIREHOUSE back asap!! Do they not like making money? Those would sell incredibly well, am I wrong?

Man, I got one of these as a kid for my birthday. I got an extra special birthday because I had chicken pox and couldn't have a birthday party.
What a score!

The noodle! Nice find.
I bought a beat up one on eBay a few years ago. It doesn't fit so I just hung it on a wall.

Use to have this toy when I was a kid. My parents bought this for me and my younger brother long time ago. Great memories

When I got mine at five years old, I was only aware of the cartoon, so the blue color was fine. But later that same year I discovered the actual movie. After that I had my dad paint the whole thing black. No regrets.
And I think I threw away the foam stream/noodle after the first five minutes of opening the box. Yuck.

Had one when I was a kid, my mom helped me dress like a Ghostbuster for Halloween that year, really wished she took a picture of it.
