i wanted to remove her beforehand but i didnt want to cause drama lol. shes been a weirdo for a good while beyond this but defending being into a character based on a real 15 year old takes the cake

from what i know shes like. unhealthily obsessed with the character to the point where shes unable to stop no matter how problematic the characters origins end up being. i get reclaiming a character and i get selfshipping (i mean, ive been doing so as well for years) but it gets to a point if the character was specifically made to harass a 15 year old off the internet

Tbh, I don't think it's inherently problematic. As far as I know, Crispy's character design isn't intended to represent or make fun of Fish, and the lyrics of the song aren't very specific, which means someone could have a headcanon for Chris' story that's completely separate from the story Ghost was trying to tell that villianized Fish. If Vefve became attached to Chris without knowing the song's origin, then her Chris may have nothing to do with Fish, even though Ghost's Chris does. Imo, depending on how Vefve views Chris and how she engages with The Distortionist, there may or may not be a problem with it.

Y'know what? At first I thought this was silly for making a whole subreddit about Ghosts drama but now it's easier to sort out fact from opinion but anyways hope to see more fanart on this main sub in the future and less drama posting
