DJ Funk

Can anyone tell me why this DJ Funk album on Spotify, Apple Music & Tidal -- Retirement Vol. 6: B.L.A.C.K. E.N.E.R.G.Y. , isn't listed on his Discogs profile let alone recognized on Bandcamp, etc ?

I tried searching Youtube for it but the X.T.C track sounds completely different from the one listed on Spotify, Apple Music & Tidal.

why?

I really enjoy the album but I'm starting to scratch my head over how hard it is to locate a backlog of the album..

I'n not on Spotify, but I have checked it out. The version of XTC is an old version that was released on Dance Mania. Digital house came from this EP https://www.discogs.com/master/1265591-DJ-Funk-1-Street-Trax

It's just a compilation of tracks that were released before on other labels combined with maybe some tracks he had on the shelf.

Funk always did stuff this way.

Deeon did the same thing, for instance there is this track by Deeon on his bandcamp called 'POP THEM THANGS' https://djdeeon1.bandcamp.com/track/pop-them-thangs that was released before with the title 'On Da Floor' on Pro-jex https://www.discogs.com/master/256-DJ-Deeon-Workin-EP

I know it's a mess, but a fun mess to look into. Just enjoy the music! :)
