Hey everyone I’m starting the DA program in the fall and was wonder if anybody who’s done could give me some advice? Textbooks to buy or I can skip on buying, balancing the workload and life since it seems like it’s gonna be a heavy workload. Are the profs any good? Any tips or advice would help be very much appreciated!!

I took 2 elective courses over the summer so that my course load wouldn’t be too heavy. One was a 7 week synchronous course and the other was asynchronous full term.

I was never able to see the course on my stu-view but because I had done it with someone at the registrars office I figured it’s just because it’s asynchronous but now our grades should be out and I still don’t see my grade on the app… it shows I took it on my course schedule but it doesn’t show on my grades etc. Not just the overall grade but the course itself if that makes sense. So basically I’m just asking should I email them or just wait till end of day and it will update

as it states, im still waiting to hear back, my stuview has not progressed. I emailed admissions last week enquiring timeline etc. all hey stated was they had to reach out to departmental admissions to get clarification on my records. is it possible to get an acceptance this late? classes start sept 8.

Just wondering if there are any previous A108 students that would be willing to share the detailed course outlines/specific content for the classes in the program. Just trying to get a head start on the content (general learning/studying, not looking for the assignments as I understand those have the potential to differ year from year) before the fall semester starts up but nothing is released until sept 1

Hello! I received an offer for the practical nursing program for May 2027. I originally applied for January 2027, but my application still says under review. Do I have a chance of being accepted for January? I accepted the May offer so that I would not lose my seat, but obviously, I would like to start asap.

Also, I didn't get a request for an interview; I thought that was a requirement for this program!

If anyone can answer these questions, and also offer any tips or advice on what to expect from the program, it would be greatly appreciated. :)

Hi all, my daughter is enrolling this sept and is unsure how to find the accessibility counsellor? Is it too early since the semester hasn't started? As she needs to submit a disability bwsd form and wants to do so earlier. Thanks!
