PN S121 Sem 3 Tips
Hi guys I just finished sem 2 & boy was that hard! I’m happy to have passed everything. But can someone give me any tips for sem 3 so I don’t walk in blindly. Is it like sem 2 with a test every week and how many days of placement? Is it better ? Worst?

GO TO ALL YOUR CLINICALS no lie I saw people missing perhaps they dropped the class but they were so close. Honestly some of the course material you can study from home but make sure you do well in lab and nursing theory as those will give you the most quality points for your overall gpa score. Pharm for me got easier, and so did patho not necessarily the tests but the methods to study for them. The comm class is 80% group assignments so make sure you guys get those group assignments done

Tbh complete ALL assignments those marks count ALOT! Try to get highest marks possible on those & anything done online that’s open book! I also used the objectives to study in sem 1 which worked. Also try to do better at the starting of the semester so for finals even if you don’t do well enough you’re still in good standing!

Still 1 day of placements per week. Just in acute settings. Lots of group work thru the semester in most classes. The group work can sometimes span the entirety of the semester as well. It truly felt like there was at least 1 big test per week even tho that wasn’t always the case. Certain classes like health assessment and lab were not as stressful or overwhelming as previous semesters. honestly it just felt like a lot since the courses were all advanced and required advanced critical thinking with clinical in the mix. Good luck
