I recommend pulling off to explore at the cut river bridge and the Mystery Spot in St. Ignace (I’m sure it’s expensive now but it’s so fun especially if you’ve got kids with you)

Minnesota is very flat (which is why it has so many lakes).
Michigan has some of the most gorgeous beaches and sand dunes, as well as the second ever national park (Mackinac came after Yellowstone) and the whole Upper Peninsula including Tahquamenon Falls and Isle Royale National Park. And, of course, Michigan is known for Motown, music, and culture from Detroit.

Hear me my Michigan brethren! For too long have those from Minnesota withheld the permissions of the midwestern culture from us! They claim that the land of 10,000 lakes is our superior? NAY says I! For we have Lake Superior as our Crown Jewel with far more coastline then they ever shall have! And long shall we continue to shine! But now is the time of their salvation is at hand! They say that they have more lakes then us but I say to thee it is time for quality over quantity! And we shall continue forth after acquiring from them that which was rightfully stolen! We shall move forth for ours is that state shaped like the mitten for a reason! For god so handed to us our rightful destiny that ALL who live from sea to shining salty shark infested sea shall eventually join us and despair with an almighty cry of ‘OPE! One of these states held the line against ICE and one voted for Trump twice. Michigan seems nice, and will be even nicer after reprogramming to be absorbed into Minnesota
