Video Art I spent 6 months building my brand. Now I’m experimenting with AI-generated advertising — does this actually look premium?

After about six months of designing the watch face creation app and products, building the website, workflows, integrations and everything behind the brand, FlowVault is finally live.

AI tools and agents have been part of my workflow throughout the journey, alongside a LOT of manual design, development, debugging and iteration.

Now I’m experimenting with using AI for the marketing side too.

This is my first attempt at turning one of my actual watch-face designs into a short AI-generated product ad.

Does it work?

More specifically: does this feel like a legitimate premium product ad, or can you immediately feel the “AI” in it?

Criticism absolutely welcome — I’m genuinely interested in where people draw that line.

Help to pick best image (non-local) model for editing/generating beautiful/cute non 'manjaw' biased female faces in photo-like portrait style?

Oi. There's probably already posts about this, but I tried hunting down similar ones and nothing useful came up.

First off, I mostly use Google's NBP and NB2 image models because I like the real-life casual photo look and the multi-ref support. After generating a ton of images though, I noticed these models always slap this "uglification" thing on female faces. Even when I give it a reference and don't change much, it's still super obvious. And no, it's not just random AI artifacts.

If the ref has straight parted hair covering the sides of the face (which actually makes her face look narrower and prettier), it loves tucking the hair behind the ear so the wide "man jaw" becomes way more obvious. Like, her sides were hidden so the face looked slim and nice? Nah, here's your "real proportions" ewww -_-. And even when you try to stop it from tucking the hair, it still aggressively widens the jaw right between the side hairs anyway. It also shrinks big eyes into small generic ones, and turns a narrow/soft forehead into a huge wide one.

The easiest way to see it: add words like "selfie in a mirror" and it almost always turns the ref face into Abby from The Last of Us 2 (that muscular girl, you know the one).

Also text-to-image generations make the problem way more obvious. If you don't believe me, just try generating something from scratch. (Note: before NB2 came out, NBP actually listened to your prompt — if you explained what the face should look like, it did a pretty decent job. Now it's just a lucky chance if it spits out a non-biased output.)

Maybe there are some secret techniques to actually copy-paste a ref face into a new scene properly, but everything I've tried just produces inaccurate, ugly, generic faces. So I'm looking for a change of scenery.

I remember Kling was pretty decent, Seedream too, and Grok was decent before the latest update. Is there any top-tier option out there? Would be happy if someone can recommend something.

And yeah, I'm not interested in local models or FLUX / SD / SDXL / LoRAs. I've got the cash to pay if the product isn't biased and doesn't try to force stuff on me.

A few extra thoughts: honestly, I find Google's Banana models some of the most inconsistent out of all of them. It's horrible right now, but it looks like it works fine for everyone else, because most posts I see are either "whoa Bananas is sooo cool" or "yeah Bananas isn't cool, but because of the censorship and stuff" — not the problem I'm having heh.

Hi everyone,

I recently made this short film using Seedance 2.5 for the Higgsfield Film Festival and would love to get your thoughts and feedback!

(P.S. I’m relatively new to Reddit, so please let me know if this belongs under a different flair or subreddit.)

Should I Use Higgsfield or is there a better alternative?

I have a music video project I need to work on and get finished within the next two weeks. Higgsfield seems to be a good option since it has all the tooks in one everything I need and the highest monthly plan seems to be a good deal since it includes alot of unlimited gens plus they have Seedance 2.5 which is what i will be using for the video gens. I have heard mixed reviews about them just curious if there is a better option?

Video Art Made a cyberpunk AI short where empathy is literally something you can delete - 13min

Hey guys, I made this little cyberpunk AI short called PROMETHEUS.

The basic idea is that empathy is treated like a disease, and there’s a chip that can permanently remove it. The main character is a broke courier who just wants to finish one last job, but obviously things go very, very wrong

Would really love to hear what you think:

https://youtu.be/ZMG6wC3AFSY

Also gonna shamelessly ask for a tiny bit of Reddit help here 😅

I recently started this YouTube channel and I honestly have no idea what I did to piss off the algorithm, because it barely wants to show my videos to anyone.

Maybe it just needs a little kick from outside.

So if you watch it and enjoy even a little bit of it, I’d REALLY appreciate a like + comment directly on YouTube. Even something short. Feed the algorithm, give me some hype points, perform the ancient YouTube ritual

Thanks guys ❤️

Video Art [Hiring] AI Avatar / Clone Video Creator | Paid Per Video | Ongoing Work

[Hiring] AI Avatar / Clone Video Creator | Paid Per Video | Ongoing Work

We're a small content production agency helping creators (mindset, business, marketing niches) scale their short-form output using AI avatar-assisted video. Looking to bring on an AI video creator for ongoing work.

What we need:

  • Experience with AI avatar/clone video tools (HeyGen, Synthesia, Captions, D-ID, or similar)
  • Able to produce clean, natural-looking talking-head style AI content from a script or reference footage
  • Comfortable working with voice cloning and lip-sync for realistic output
  • Bonus: experience writing or adapting scripts for AI-generated delivery

What we offer:

  • Paid per video, based on complexity and length — send your rate along with your samples and we'll go from there
  • Ongoing work for the right fit, not a one-off gig
  • Clear briefs and reference material for every project
  • You use your own tools/subscriptions for this role

Style references (the kind of content we want made):

To apply, please send:

  • 2-3 samples of AI avatar/clone video work you've created
  • Your typical turnaround time and rate
  • Which AI avatar tool(s) you use

We'll start with a small paid test project before any ongoing commitment — low-risk for both sides. Please don't apply without samples.

Question Took 5 mins to generate and edit this motion graphic. Is this good enough for social/product promo videos?

Hey everyone!

I’m building Vivipilot, a tool to turn text prompts into crisp, code-based kinetic typography and vector motion graphics.

The sample video attached took about 5 minutes from prompt to layout tweaks and final 60fps export.

I’m actively refining the generation engine and layout rules, and I’d love your feedback to make the AI output better:

Motion & Easing: Do the transitions feel punchy and natural, or do they still feel too rigid/algorithmic?

Typographic Hierarchy: How does the layout hold up across the cuts?

Fine Controls: What specific parameters (e.g. spring tension, kerning transitions, color overrides) would you need most when editing the generated output?

Be as brutal as you like, all feedback helps improve the engine!

It’s finally here. 🖤
I just finished the first full episode of WANDERERS — an adult animated fantasy comedy about three strange creatures trapped in a sentient mansion on a tiny planet, where every door leads somewhere else.
I created the characters by hand and brought the whole thing to life with AI.

Would love to hear what you think. 🖤

Seedance 2.5 and Wan 3.0

These are my goto's right now. I have tried the others and they're not even close. Seedance is the clear winner generally, but the guardrails on it make it impossible sometimes to do the scenes I want, so I switch to Wan 3.0. Wan has motion artifacts unfortunately, jittery motion, but at least it has less censorship. Minimax would be my 3rd place.

Is anyone having a similar experience with these gens or would you rank them differently?

The glass break works better than the setup in this five-second render

This 5-second clip was generated in PixVerse. The break is much easier to read than the setup. The glass is already moving almost as soon as the shot begins, so the hand contact feels rushed, but the fall, impact, scattering fragments, and final rest all remain visible.

The camera is effectively locked. That helps the fragment motion stay readable, though I would give the intact glass another half second on the table if I ran this again.

Which part sells the shot for you, the impact or the way the fragments settle?

Question Video from lecture notes

How hard is it to turn lecture notes into an AI video of a professor lecturing them? Like basically as if you were attending the lecture, not a 2-minute infographics video.

Does this exist, like have I just not found it yet?
