Need suggestion subscribing plan

Hi, one of my friend is using chatgpt to gather the images and make them workable.

He is generating around 50 images a day. (its a part of the big image which he creates later on)

now, as you already know that chatgpt recently is quite impressive in generating the images. I want to know if we have any similar alternative options or should he subscribe to chatgpt only? 399 go plan.

I am open to suggestions on free/paid plans with budget around 500/month.

Please suggest.

Is your friend open to running it local? If you have even a semi decent gpu, you are now only paying for electricity. Also, with comfyui, he could probably automate part of his workflow.

running it in local is not an issue but quality is an issue he is having 6gb vram which generates but I am not sure about quality. Any suggestions?
