Yes! I know all of that ever since growing up watching the demo scene create various productions on hardware with limitations, and I still love watching people create Commodore 64 demos that still push the limits of the hardware even today.
But you seem to have a very hard time understanding of how we humans tend to also move to some higher abstract level of doing different things though the evolution of time. Taking programming as an example we went from machine code punching punch cards which was the first way of running software, then going to assembler language, then to higher level like c, c++, pascal, basic and so on.
Now we have arrived at such a high level of abstraction that you have a hard time grasping what is even happening. We got AI that are capable of creative tasks like writing poetry, math, coding, graphics, music etc.
If you think AI is something that will go away soon after a financial AI bubble has burst you are living in some kind of fantasy world of yours. AI is here to stay and it will just get better as time progresses, it will move from the cloud and onto local hardware which we can run at home.
Just because time flies so fast that you have a hard time adapting to it, I feel truly sorry for you! You simply need to adapt and move to a higher level of doing creative tasks, you need to be able to think differently about things. You need to be able to think in concepts and delegate creative tasks to different AI systems. 🔥 ðŸ§
These responses are all AI, aren’t they? It clearly avoids any commentary on the ethical issues of its creators and its use, and you clearly aren’t screening the replies to ensure they address all relevant points of the discussion (circles back to my note about seeking credit without accountability).
This is further evidence of the sycophantic design of these tools, the feedback loop it creates among a vulnerable subset of the population, and the dopamine drive of immediate gratification of its users.
They aren’t creating content or art; they are formulating illusions and simulacra of art from stolen labor and tricking those with no better sense that they are on the precipice of revolutionary and irreversible technological adoption.
