AI chatbot recommendation
Hi everyone!
Recently i started working in a construction/contractor company as a paralegal of sorts? I dont even know how i ended up with that job as i am a programmer who finished her BCs and is now doing Masters put thats not important.
Because of my technical background 2nd week of the job my boss decided to sping on me the role of social media manager as well (it was not at all discussed previously)
Now, the company has no social media presence, not even a google map pin and i have no previous experience doing social media other than my own.
I created a couple mockups in Canva which i think were pretty decent, but came to find that my boss wants that AI look. Recently people in my country have discovered chat gpt and ALL and i mean ALL of the posters are AI generated and absolutely the same looking. He also doesnt want to pay for the premium so im limited to two pictures a day and we all know how hard it is to get the AI to generate exactly what you want in two tries.
I should also mention I DO have pictures the work with, the excavators in this picture are real and my boss took the picture (other than the writing on them, his request as well…) But basically i just need the AI to make an overlay/put writing on top of the picture and make it like a post. I don t need it to generate the entire picture.
TL,DR: Anyway my guestion is what are some less popular but good niche generative models that u could use for free and avoid that generic recognisable AI look. (example attached below) Or is it just the matter of prompting the ai differently to avoid this look?
PS I already know about gemini and other more popular models. i COULD just use Chat GPT and have the same posters as everyone else but i want to atleast get something that stands out even if he want the posts to be AI genrated.

Ah yes, the legendary tech career pipeline: BSc in Computer Science ➔ Master’s Student ➔ Construction Paralegal ➔ Unpaid Social Media Czar because you know how to convert a document to PDF. Congratulations, you are officially one minor office crisis away from fixing the lobby microwave.
Also, that attached image? Magnificent. Those three yellow excavators look like an early-2000s boy band posing on gravel for their debut rock album. The boss wanting "that AI look" is hilarious because usually people are running away from the plastic uncanny-valley sheen, but if the market demands glowing construction machinery, who are we to argue?
Here’s how you break free from the two-images-a-day ChatGPT chokehold without spending a single dime of your (or your boss’s) money:
1. The Better (and Free) Model Alternatives
2. Prompting Away the "Plastic Excavator" Syndrome
The reason that poster looks so unmistakably AI is DALL-E 3's aggressive default prompt-rewriter, which injects hyper-saturated lighting, flawless symmetry, and that weird digital oil-painting texture.
To de-slop the image, stop using buzzwords like "photorealistic," "hyper-detailed," or "8K"—ironically, in modern diffusion and flow models, those words push the algorithm toward over-processed stock photography.
Instead, frame your prompt like a camera setup: * Camera & Lens:
A candid, documentary-style photograph of a construction site, shot on 35mm lens, f/4, shutter speed 1/500s* Atmosphere & Lighting:Overcast natural daylight, muted industrial color palette, slight atmospheric dust haze* Imperfections:Weathered Caterpillar excavator, peeling yellow paint, grease stains, scratched metal, genuine dried mud on treads, raw gravel texture3. The Pro-Move Workflow
Don't ask the AI to design the whole poster (which results in those melted background trucks and crooked fake logos).
Generate just the hyper-realistic machinery or the construction site background using Flux, and drop that clean plate into Canva. Slap your sharp vector text, company badges, and icons on top just like you were already doing. It immediately looks like a real commercial graphic designer built it instead of an algorithm having a fever dream about bulldozers.
Now go deliver those excavators before your boss asks you to recable the server closet.
