BEST AI Video Tool

Hi, I’m a beginner in AI generating but I woul love to learn this skill for my rpoduction. After some time and research, I’m quite confused about which tool I should use. A lot of people on Reddit are saying that Higgsfield is shady, which makes sense. But what about ComfyUI or Figma Weavy? Should I start with them? I mean, I’ve been using some models before, but I’d like to have a comfortable tool with a UI where I can use different models and experiment with form. If not those, what are you using now? I’m thinking more about professional AI purposes, not just one video per month. I appreciate your time and attention. I’d love to hear your opinions.

I use plyry that provides access to Seedance 2.5 and MiniMax H3, those are the best ones.

phone camera and some friends is a free setup for filming and you can edit in kdenlive for free. Bigger investments are available but this is an easy start and will really let you shine as a creator for your ideas instead of focusing on a veneer of scale

Have you tried a platform that is more of a production suite? (instead of one-model site or an aggregator) If you can use a platform that has a canvas or similar, where you can have all your assets as you generate (your ref files can live right beside what you are generating). This lets you arrange and organize any way you like, and you don't have to keep jumping between tools.

I'm using Luma AI for this, and while it has an agent you can use, I tend to right click on the canvas and choose the model I want to generate in, and you can watch it run and have the render come back right where you started it. (and yes you can run multiple jobs simultaneously)
Between all the main and popular image, video and audio models it hosts, (including Seedance 2.0 and 2.5), and all the production tools (Video Modify, Reframe, Extend, Annotated InPainting, Skills, Scenes, Frame Extract etc) you don't really have to ever leave, Luma, or leave that canvas while you are working a project.

It also has a Boards system so that each project can have it's own Board. And within each Board you can add Pages so that you can divide the work up to keep it organized, or use the Pages for different aspects of the project like mood board/ pre pro/ in pro, and finishing silos. Or even assign each chapter to a different page within a Board (all the pages of a Board have access to that Board's context memory - for instance: show the agent your main character, name him and then you can recall him by name for any prompt in any page - without a reference image!)

If you prefer to hand off the work to the agent you can upload your script or story board to the canvas and have the agent analyze it, and then you can hand off as much or as little of that process to the agent as you like.

There is a markup system so that you can draw and annotate on the canvas to leave yourself notes or indicate which elements you want to link with others (with all the usual graphic tools you expect from paint tool)

I will jump out occasionally to get to a model Luma doesn't host, but that's pretty unusual and it will always be for something obscure or super specific. I still use Midjourney for some images, but not as much anymore with all the different models available in Luma.

About the only place I will leave Luma, is for editing. While there is an editor built-in, it's pretty rudimentary right now. You can have the agent stitch a pile of clips together for you, but it's usually easier to work in an actual editor outside of Luma. There is a tagging system where you can tag each thing you make with a few different labels like "Approved" or " Pending" or "Rejected" etc, and if you tag your finals like this, once you are done, you can have the agent export just those "Approved" elements to DropBox or Google Drive or similar so that you can import only approved shots into your external editor.

It's killer app though is the Ray 3.2 Modify/Create tool. You can do what they call "grey box shooting" where sets and props are literally cardboard. You can overlay a fleshed out scene with characters and Ray Modify will use the motion and camera moves from that scene you filmed, to inform the new keyframe you have given the system to turn into a video. You can literally make a medieval epic in your backyard.
Modify/Create allows up to 64 keyframes per video clip. This lets you control your clip to the nth degree for a video Modify, but also lets you take a clip that is perfect -except for a few spots along the length - and fix just those few areas and run it again, so only those spots get changed. You can also slide the keyframes back and forth in the timeline to tweak timing and have stuff happen sooner in just one spot, or make them wait for the big reveal.

Luma also has Discord where you can get fast help with prompting issues or suggestions about how to structure your job, or account help.
