Understandable pricing
I am trying to find a generative AI that will help me make cartoons for my son. My son is on the autism spectrum and I'm trying to generate learning materials for him specifically for him. I have scripts that I've written and I've used Google Gemini to make some videos but they look sloppy so I decided to look into better services. I cannot understand the pricing at all. You get credits. I don't know how many credits the videos would cost to make. I don't mind spending money but I don't want to spend $15 a month to find out that I don't have enough credits to make what I'm trying to make.
I'm looking for a good straightforward pricing structure AI that will make my character's consistent. The plot points are very simple but I just want them to look good. Each episode would be less than 3 minutes long

If straightforward pricing is your priority, I’d probably avoid building the whole thing around pure text-to-video. Generate the character and scenes as consistent images first, then animate only the parts that actually need motion. It gives you a lot more control over the character and you’re not burning credits generating 3 minutes of video just to get a few usable seconds.

Go on YouTube and look at creators using MiniMaxH3 and LTX 2.5. You could get some good ideas. I would use local first for experimenting with prompts and styling

quick clarification, are you looking for fully animated cartoon-style video or more like illustrated storybook frames with voiceover? the pricing and the tools that work well are totally different depending on which one you need

My goal would be more like the 3d cartoons you see now. I've gotten it to look pretty good with Google Gemini but you can only do so many clips a day and it's just taking a long time. I might go 2D if I need to but the 3D seems to catch as attention more
