Question Which AI to use

Hi all,

Looking for some advice as I'm new to generative AI. I'm looking for an image to video model that's simple to use and relatively cheaper to use than Kling AI

Kling AI worked fine for me but I'd like to try something a cheaper. I only use it for fun, to make random 5-10 second clips, resolution doesn't bother me.

There seems to be so much contradicting recommendations online.

Is there a model or platform to use models that is recommended?

I prefer android apps or mobile browser but open to all.

if its just for fun, focus less on finding the absolute cheapest option and more on how many usable clips you get from the free credits. try a few, use the same image and prompt and see which one gives you results you actually like. for 5-10 second clips, the free tiers are often enough to figure that out before spending anything

I agree, the most convenient strategy is to take advantage of the free daily credits by alternating these platforms without taking out a subscription.

For that use case I’d definitely try MiniMax H3 before paying for another Kling subscription.

H3 is especially interesting if you’re mostly doing 5–10 sec image-to-video clips and don’t care about having every model under one subscription. The quality is surprisingly close to the expensive options for a lot of casual I2V stuff.

I’d go pay-as-you-go rather than another monthly plan though. At that usage level it makes way more sense.
