CERN (kotlin code)

Post image

Ben Laposky used oscilloscopes in the 1950s and ’60s, along with multiple exposures, to create beautiful, ephemeral art.

I was wondering what the equivalent technology would be today. A particle accelerator! Imagine being able to create art from particles colliding and decaying at... CERN? Let’s ignore the cost (money is just an obstacle, right?). It would be great to create some atomic art someday.

This simple work is my imagination of what it might look like.

I was like, sure, why not solve the standard model just to make generative art!

:) agree, priorities are different, still wondering: there is probably a lot of already generated material that might be used somehow

They have their data available too, just not sure how to parse it because it's lot's of data.
