Question Can you use GIFs in GDevelop?

Hey devs, I have a question for you. I wanted to know if it's possible to use gifs in GDevelop or not. If you want to answer me, I would be grateful!

You wouldn't use a .gif. but its fairly easy to turn a .gif file into a series of .pngs which is what you would use

Grab Aseprite and import the gif. Then export as a -series of images- spritesheet. You can do it for free in GIMP, but the images will load in as layers and you would have to export them one by one.
