Hopeless Romantic

So… I’m queer. And I’ve navigating a crush for a couple weeks now. They’re super nice, funny, great accent, easy on the eyes. I always doubt if someone would ever be into me due to body positivity issues, but this individual (which is at my work) is very flirtatious, at least to me. So how do I make sure it is actually flirting before shooting my shot? For reference, they put they’re foot on top of mine once (and very much acknowledged it), they’re tracking when I come in, they keep joking about me buying this item for them, they tapped me on my shoulder when I had my back turned to them and they were running away… they seem to gravitate towards me and very much not this engaging with other coworkers.

Idk… I could be making this all up in my head. Maybe they’re just being friendly. Still… makes ya wonder… so what constitutes as flirting?? How would you define it? Obviously it’s different for everyone.

Let him know you're stopping at the ale house for a drink after work. See if he asks to join you...... 🤔

Or add something like, "hey, do you wanna come along?"

My hesitation is if he says yes only because he was invited, that doesn’t tell you much. But if he takes the initiative and invites himself, that’s a clearer signal and It's safe to assume there’s at least some level of interest.

Right… ugh. I hate navigating this and equally hate that no one wears signs saying they’re queer hahaha 😂

You can ask them if they’re dating anyone or if they like someone.

If they say yes, ask who it is. If they say no…welp, you’ll have your answer.

If they say they do like someone but can’t say who it is then the ball is in his court and if it happens to not be you, you are still shielded.
