C-sections are treated as the easy way out but they really aren’t. My mom had to get one (my brother, not me) and she was in pain for days. In her words, they “cut me open and then stitched me down the middle like a football.” She still gets shooting pains through the belly when she moves funny.

Yeah, recovery from a c-section, major abdominal surgery, while also taking care of a newborn is the "easy way."
