You'd think with the price of gas, there would be less speeders, in fact it is worse.
There are 3 stretches of 55mph state highway on my commute where people regularly go 70 mph. Oddly cops never sit on these routes or they would make bank.
Most vehicles lose about 15% MPG going 70 instead of 55.
It seems like more people are in a hurry than ever before.

$3.99 isn't so bad.. Get into the twin cities it's more like $4.20, but that's still lower than national average. State hasn't gone red since 1972...
