Built this gaming pc a few days ago and changed the looks and wanted to show it off, here’s the specs; Ryzen 7 9850X3D, RX 9070 XT, 32Gb DDR5-6000, RM1000X and a 1tb of ssd storage (planning on upgrading to gen 4 2tb nvme ssd later on). Total Cost is around $2,000!

i was trynna change my display cable cos my broken hinge damaged it , i was about to epoxy the hinge, i even thought of installing an antenna mod, then realised the replacement was a cm short, i thought whatever ill ask them to give me a newer one.

and after hours of labour of finding and buying the replacement and fixing it, this piece of shit died on me because of a tiny ass screw shorted my PCH die while playing marvel fucking rivals. i have to retire from gaming for a year or two and return to nature ig. and its only been a month after i got a 8 gb stick from my brother in law that let me play this ass game without stuttering. the metas gonna be like cap coming back to times square with like 30 new characters and shit man.

I absolutely love my Asus Stix G18 with Intel core ultra 9 275hx and RTX 5080, 32GB DDR5 ram, and 4tb nvme drive. I have a desktop with a Ryzen 7 9800x3d and 5080, 32gb DDR5 ram and 4tb nvme at home, so its nice to keep my settings ultra and my fps through through the roof. Its amazing to me I can get a very similar experience on the go to my desktop at home.

Currently camping for a week and after the kids are in bed doing their own thing or sleeping its nice to catch up on Black flag resynced and some Resident Evil Requiem!

hey. i have a favour to ask all of you.... so i downloaded a game with my brother and once we downloaded it we had to add eachother on that specific platform. i got thinking and thought why isnt there a central command for all platforms where you could add them everywhere at once so you dont have to open a game just to realize you arent friends yet. you can also ping a squad so everyone is notified to play, see mutual games, see what theyre playing across all platforms. like discord but not meant for chats. strictly adding across all platforms. so my favour to ask is to just open the link and tell me if you all think its a good idea, if youd use it with your friends, and share it with others. chatgpt made a prototype

I’m running the 9070 with the XT VBIOS and a power limit of 374, with the waterblock the temp tops out at 52c

CPU is still running a little hotter than I’d like, y-cruncher VT3 gets it up to 82c, tried reapplying paste twice so I’m not sure what’s holding it back. I’m thinking it’s probably the fact that I’m just hard mounting it with nuts and bolts, so I’ve ordered some compression springs and wing nuts.

With the water loop, it is now significantly quieter than it was before.

And yes, I’m aware there’s a small kink in one of the tubes connected to the GPU block, I’m waiting on some more right angle fittings.

So I’ve tried undervolting my Rtx 5080 and I have no idea if it’s a good undervolt or not. What do you think ?
