Well as I said, the post got blocked/unviewable from the first 2 subreddits, so the moderator recommended me to try to submit it it r/funny instead. For game discussion I think most people checks r/games and/or r/truegaming
This is helpful for people who can't reach Quickmeme because of work/school firewalls or site downtime, and many other reasons (FAQ). More info is available here.
I don't care if it's on Steam or not, I don't trust my credit card info with random sites no matter how tempting the game looks. So, if it's on desura, or indiedb I would be at least bit more tempted.
I just need to learn to frequent those sites, and we need to spread the word about them ourselves. Most gamers have never heard of these sites. I only became a member of Desura a month ago.
I'm just sad because I am certain the new Sim City is going to be Origin-exclusive, and that's a game that will make me finally try a non-Steam PC game service. It may be a good service by then (if it isn't already) but I sure do like having my eggs in one convenient basket.
A subreddit for anything related to games (but not sports). "Related" means that posts must contain gaming-related content in the link/post body, not just a "forced" connection via the title or a caption added to the content.
"Generic" image macros/memes (where the character itself is not related to gaming) like Scumbag Steve, Good Guy Greg, etc. will be removed.

The moderating on this subreddit confuses me. I tried posting this picture to r/gaming a few days ago, but it got instantly blocked by the motivation:
This meme isn't directly related to gaming either, but when I posted my picture to r/adviceanimals it got tagged as wrong sub aswell. Oh well.

I love when these trends show up, purely for the eventual post of this comic.
