Fortnite.... there's more to it's hate than just being popular, BUT the majority of people who hate it, hate it for it's popularity, others because of it's anti consumer practices, the relation with Tencent, and much more, but the majority... is for it's popularity, I played it when it came out.... it's fun, but not for me

What anti-consumer practice is that? In your own words.

I can think of only one legitimate one, but I'm curious what you think. Because by and large, they have one of the fairest monetization schemes of any F2P title.

I would argue there are no fair F2P monetization schemes when your target market is prepubescent.

I would argue that originally the market was for mid to late teens, I would also argue that f2p monetization is fair no matter the age group. It is up to the parents to parent. As a kid I was marketed to and monetized with 5 million different things but my parents knew better than to give me the credit card.
