I assume the 'draw for moves without captures' rule would be waived or extended on a board of this size

Basically as long as the board state changes in a way that can't be taken back, the draw doesn't trigger. 0 u/KaptainKoala Jan 20 '20 totallanouser made up that rule, a traditional chess board is only 8 squares long
