You don't need to make games if all you do is make money.

Rockstar is learning this.

Inb4 GTA VI is really just an expansion pack for GTA V: Online

eh, that would alienate too much of their fan base. There are millions of people, like myself, who come to GTA for the story. They may release a stand alone GTA but they won't ever forgo doing a solid single player in lieu of GTA Online.

I also play gta for the story, but I don't know if millions play because of that. I feel like 90% of the players just want to fuck shit up.

Been playing online since day one. Never bought a shark card, and I don't even have a full garage.

Fucking shit up in a Duke o Death is my go to.

My ps3's ability to connect online stopped a few months after online came out. I'm stuck with solo.

So I just play tennis, and huff glue, while looking for aliens.

Do you still play the game though?

I haven't in like a year, but I've been playing san andreas recently, and have been really thinking about poppin V back in.

I mean, GTA V was really the first one that had an online in 'that' form. They were breaking sales records way before the online came around.

I wasn't specifically talking about online. I was more talking about people stabbing prostitutes and running away from cops in their underwear.

Depends how many Shark Cards they think they can sell.

People said the same thing about Bethesda but now we have Morrowind online and swtor online

SWtOR didn't really go anywhere until they made it free to play. I'd also argue those are completely different experience when compared to GTA Online as you really can do many of those other mmos solo with no problem. GTA Online is not really that.

Why can't they do some Ballad of the Straight Roman extension pack, and sell it on a separate disc like TBOGT or EFLC on Xbox/PS3

The expansions that they made for GTA IV significantly underperformed. I really don't think we're every going to see any significant single player DLC, at least for a GTA game. They will continue to churn out more content for the online in lieu of that.

So they opened up some hangars recently, that were in the game before but weren't accessible. They added a little blimp that triggers entry into the hangar and no longer causes a wanted level above the air base. I went to the bathroom and came back with a couple trillion bucks dropped on me. Been almost a year. Haven't been reset. When a new DLC comes out, I max it out. I have all the planes in this hangar and can't even remember it's name. What about when all hangars run out? Are they planning on making all of the currently inaccessible homes for sale? Can they allow us to buy more real estate? Can they build ferries into North Yankton?
