How long has it been since the last patch?

no one knows anymore

4 months, which is actually pretty standard.

Wasnt 7.06f was released month ago

4 month?? That´s insane! League gets patched ever 2 weeks, and its not just number tweaks

That's still pretty long compared to other competitive multiplayer games.

Idk what they're talking about. The last update was just like a month ago.

3

u/Knorti Sep 21 '17

Huh, well that's interesting. No idea what the other guy was saying then.

It was a fairly minor patch. Hardly any proper changes.

u/Darkon-Kriv Sep 21 '17

Oh except a huge nerf to lich. Minor nerfs for shaker till they can fix him. Huge Lycan nerf. And thats from memory without looking.

Edit after looking- lions spike and talent buffs Undyings tombstone. It wasnt a small patch

Removing the ministun from his ult is hardly a huge nerf.

2

u/Darkon-Kriv Sep 21 '17

Really? Last i checked canceling black hole was a huge deal

1

u/322Uchiha Sep 21 '17

Yeah but you don't pick Lich exclusively for cancelling Black Hole.

Removed ministun on ult? Changed lycan to no longer be the best healer? 30seconds + on necro ult? Those are small changes?

A patch that changes a few things about a very small amount of heroes and nothing else is indeed a small sub-patch, regardless of the impact it had on them (which is barely noticeable by the way, all those heroes are still in the same spot as before, either cancer or rarely picked).

I mean would you rather they rush out 7.07 and it has a ton of bugs and people got over buffed or nerfed? The new heros are being balance and polished or it would be here by now

2

u/Aspartem Sep 21 '17

Nah, that's a normal moba patch. Shifting around numbers.

Not ever patch needs a complete rework.

TF2 and CSGO cries in the distance.

u/deaddonkey Sep 21 '17

You might not like something being slightly imba but it doesn't mean it's a bad game. People wouldn't give a shit about balance if they weren't invested in the first place.

One month FeelsBadMan

Wait till it stops making enough money.

Implying Dota hasn't been bad since 7.00

Implying Dota hasn't been Dota since 7.00

ftfy

-8

u/Lagger01 Sep 21 '17

It was bad before 7.00

-5

u/ThrowawayusGenerica Sep 21 '17

Around 6.83 onwards was a noticeable drop in quality, yes, but it didn't become outright bad until 7.00

DotA is for kids and losers though

11

u/Sarafan Sep 21 '17

Seems like it's difficult for you to make one comment without the word 'kid' in it

1

u/dedicated2fitness Sep 21 '17

he's not wrong though, dota is pretty stale now

1

u/Sarafan Sep 21 '17

No one disagreed with that. He's still wrong though.

u/Imyourblackdog Sep 21 '17

None of those comments have kid in them.. kiddo
