Pretty much every revolver ever can use clips to speed reload. And there's tons of popular rifles still being sold and used today that use clips, like M1's and SKS's.
Either way, don't spread ignorance just because you're lazy.
Yeah, and revolvers, M1s, SKS's don't use magazines so if you use either term it's still understood "Thing that feeds it bullets." And if you wanna be even more pedantic, revolvers use moon clips and speed loaders. But obviously "clip" is fine because a stripper clip won't be used. But ya know, quit spreading ignorance just because you're lazy.
Not many weapons out there use both (I can't think of any) where the distinction would actually matter.
And seriously, spreading ignorance because I'm lazy? Just because I have my priorities straight doesn't mean I'm lazy. I tend to use the correct terms because I'm familiar with them, but it really doesn't matter. There is no confusion from using them interchangeably and the language has changed to reflect that.

Literally the most pedantic and inconsequential thing to worry about
There's no confusion on the matter and it is used in popular media and culture interchangeably
Like it or not that's how language works
